Will the test focus more on the first or second half of the class? (take home final sounds kinda lit)

Final exam for this class is cumulative meaning it will cover the entirety of this quarter's material. In other words, it will focus on everything :)

Final exam is cumulative: Outlines 1-6. I believe it still will be taken in person.

The final is cumulative, so it's best to go over everything. But if you want to focus more on something than anything else, I would focus on the parts of the outlines that weren't on the midterm.

As of right now, I don't think Lavelle made any announcement regarding an electronic or take home final, so I'm assuming it's still going to be held this Sunday, March 15 from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.

Also, if it becomes take home, when do you think they'll let us know??

I am pretty sure the final will not be online because at the 1:00 lecture Lavelle showed us the link on his website that tells us where to go to take the test.

As of now, I'm pretty sure we're taking our finals in the locations on the review sheet Lavelle gave us.

I feel like an online final would definitely be difficult for a chem test like ours, so I think it will be highly unlikely unless we receive more urgent news within the next few days.

We’re probably taking the final at the designated location

Yeah it would be nice to have a take home but a take home would also be so much harder since there is no time limit technically

I think the final will most likely still be taken at the assigned location on Sunday.

Given the information we just received about the virus, are we still having an in-person final?

There have not been any announcements made yet by Dr. Lavelle but the letter from Chancellor Block said that there would be more updates from professors in the coming days.

I doubt our professor would have the final in person but then again I have no idea, I would just keep paying attention to the material and studying and being alert for responses

The email says "Winter Quarter final exams will be offered remotely." so it seems like he has to find some alternative to having it in person.

Yeah it will probably be online but we'll see how he does this since its chemistry.
