points needed for c instead of c minus

Postby Madeline Ogden 3B » Wed Feb 17, 2021 9:12 pm

Hi everyone, I know that in this class 50% (200 out of 400 points) will get you a C-. How many points do we need then to achieve a plain C ? B- ? B ? etc. In other words, what is the grading scale for students who get above 200 points ? Thank you in advance for your guys' help !

I think the grading scale is a standard letter scale up until then. However, last quarter I ended up with a grade higher than I expected based on percentage.

^^I think that's right. Also Lavelle often rounds people up if they're close at the end of the quarter!

What exactly do you mean by scale up until then?

Is it possible for you to give us just like a last # approximation of +/-? Like whether a _6% would benefit you or not do anything for you?

I think you can just divide the number of points earned by the total points possible to find out right? Since it is a straight scale
