Now that the winter quarter is almost ending, how have y'all been doing in terms of everyday feelings and motivation? It feels like every day in quarantine is the same, so what do you do to make every day the best?

this is such a cute post. my motivation is lacking lately but I have to remember that I'm paying for my education so might as well try my hardest. In general I am feeling excited for the future. With the announcement that dorms are opening at 75% capacity in the fall I m excited to hopefully move in and actually be on campus! How are you?

I'd been feeling pessimistic about school recently, but I recently decided that I want to double major so I'm excited to start learning something new :) I usually walk to campus when I'm feeling down or just watch some TV to relax.

it's definitely been tough with increased screen time too as finals come up- it makes it a lot more exhausting having to rely so much on devices for learning, but I've been going on drives and doing my workouts to take breaks whenever I get the chance! also spring break coming up is definitely motivation in addition to things looking up for in-person in the fall :)

This quarter definitely went by so much faster than the last one! One thing I started in January was those little "one second every day" videos so keeping that up motivates me to do something fun everyday like go on a walk or get food or at least leave my apartment so that it's not the same clip everyday haha

For me, March went by extremely quickly. I blinked and now it's finals lol. Overall, I would say I am a 7/10. Studying has been a bit of a drag, but honestly, I'm just excited for a break at this point. Also, I definitely agree with the comments about burnout.

Honestly, this quarter has been the hardest one yet, but I'm pretty sure Winter quarter in general is the hardest of the year because I was sorta feeling this way last year (except now its even worse because of covid). The one year anniversary of leaving school last year is making me kinda sad and I'm pretty stressed about this final, but I'm trying to push through until break. Hope everyone is doing well :) We're almost done!

Hi! Thank you for posting this. It has definitely been a challenging quarter, but I am really looking forward to break and spring quarter, as well as hopefully moving in in the fall! Something that helps me is taking small moments out of my day to do the things I love most, like hanging out with my dog or listening to music or cooking. I try to take a few hours before my classes to eat, shower, and relax. After classes, I work hard until midnight to make sure I feel productive. Usually, I take one day out of the week and do whatever I want as a reward.

Since finals are just around the corner, I'm not feeling stressed per say, but I have definitely kicked into a different gear in terms of studying. Don't know why but winter quarter was way more challenging than fall quarter. It was just difficult to find enough motivation to work on school stuff but like someone mentioned, we're kinda basically paying for our education so you can't exactly slack off. It's also depressing knowing I spent more time doing online school than in person school. But I can't wait to return back to campus and have things fall back into place.

I am really happy the chemistry final is over with. I have two more and then I'll be finished, so I'm still stressed out and ready to be done with this quarter. Even though I made sure to get ahead of the chemistry (last quarter I fell way behind), I still think I could have done a better job at time management. It's been a tough quarter, but I can't wait til we are finally allowed back on campus so I can get in the right headspace.
