Is there a formula or way to set up an equation to convert units when needed?

Hi! When converting units, multiply by a conversion factor that has the original units in the denominator and your desired units in the numerator. For example, if we were to convert 3 moles of O2 to grams of O2, we'd multiply 3 moles of O2 by 32 grams of O2/1 mole O2.
