Application of different formulas
Can someone post a list with all of the formulas and what we use each one for? For example, we use E=hv to calculate the energy of a photon.

Re: Application of different formulas
I second this! The most confusing part for me is understanding when it is appropriate to use a certain formula. I am most confused about the all the formulas used in "Quantum". If posting all the formulas is too much, please post the ones used in quantum/ all the useful ones needed for this upcoming quiz!!

Yeah there are so many variances when it comes to equations. I think if you know how to derive them you should be okay. But a sheet would be helpful!

Honestly as long as you know E=hv and v=c/λ you can manipulate them to get most of the formulas you need to solve the problems

Professor Lavelle has a worksheet with all of the formulas on his website. You could easily go through those and see when you've had to use those equations!
