One of the questions in the video module about photoelectric effect asks about the new equation that was given rise by the photoelectric experiment, which equation should I put?

I believe that "C", the option you have already highlighted, is the correct answer. This is Einstein's photoelectric equation. Einstein assumed that light is made of photons and photons collide with electrons in an atom, giving all of its energy to the electron. However, some of the energy is used to allow the electron to move out of the surface of the metal (work function). Therefore, the equation states that the maximum kinetic energy of the electron = energy of the photon - work function.
