### HW 1.3

I know the right answer should be c, but I don't quite understand the explanation given. Can someone explain this please or put it into other words?

I believe C is true because when frequency decreases, the wavelength increases (it sort of drags out the wave). This in turn decreases the slope of the wave which correlates to the extent of change in the electrical field. Hope this helps!

### Re: HW 1.3

Hi, I also think C is the right answer as frequency decreases, the wavelength changes. The slope therefore decreases.

### Re: HW 1.3

I think C is the correct answer because frequency decreases causing a change in the wavelength which causes the slope of the wave to also decrease as a result.

You can eliminate B since the wavelength of the radiation would increase if frequency decreased, for D the energy of the radiation would decrease not increase if the frequency decreased. Since speed is a constant A can be ruled out as well. That leaves us with C.
