### Test 2 Q2c

How do you calculate the wavelength of the ejected electron?
It's given that the chromium metal is irradiated with light (wavelength 3.45x10^-11 m) and the kinetic energy is 2x10^-19 J and in part a it was found that the work function is 5.76 x 10^-15 J, but how do you find the wavelength of the ejected electron?

First, use the equation Kinetic Energy=1/2*m*v^2 to figure out what v is. Then you need to use De Broglie's equation, so your wavelength is equal to Planck's constant over momentum (mass*velocity). If you plug in h, m, and v, you should be able to calculate your wavelength value.
