Does Dr. Lavelle recommend we watch and take notes on the modules before going forward with the HW?

Yes, its recommended to watch them, but not required!

It is very helpful as much of what it on the modules is the same as what is on the lectures. So if you ever were confused with a lecture it could be helpful to go back and watch the module associated with it.

The video modules along with each pre and post test are highly recommended to go with each section per the syllabus but none are required or have any affect on your final grade in the class.

The modules were very beneficial for me when it came to studying for the first test on High School topics. If you don't have time to watch them before the lectures, I would at least recommend taking the pre/post module test when reviewing as another way to practice.

Yeah, I always do that and after that I only try to concentrate on the parts that were not clear for me

Taking notes on the videos definitely helped me understand the material better before lectures. It's highly recommended and beneficial!

I find it super beneficial to watch the modules and do the homework problems right after so then you can apply the concepts just learned.
