### kinetic energy

Do we need to know the kinetic energy equation given for when an electron is ejected?

The equation for this is on the formula sheet so you don't have to memorize it but you will most likely have to apply it to problems.

The kinetic formula will be provided on the equation sheet. However, just know that we can use the kinetic equation to find the velocity of the electron. Hope this helps :)

This equation along with most we learn in class will be provided (: Lavelle is pretty cool about this, I think he understands there is a lot of equations to keep track of so providing them helps us succeed (:

Most of the equations will be given to us on the formula sheet. I think you just have to understand what KE is and the concepts behind it.

Kinetic energy + O[strike] = the energy of a photon? What is the O with a strike through it representing?
