Constants and Equations

Postby Simran Bains 2C » Tue Oct 20, 2020 1:47 am

I had a question concerning all of the constants and equations when it comes to the midterms. Will all of them be provided to us or will there be certain ones provided and the others we have to memorize? Or will we not be given any of them?

My TA stated a sheet with constant values and required formulas would be provided during the exam. I think Prof. Lavelle will send more detailed information soon through email.

Hi! The UA of the workshop I went to also told us that a sheet with constants and formulas will be provided for us during midterms so I wouldn't worry too much about memorizing them at this point.

I think Dr. Lavelle also mentioned in the lectures multiple times that we would not have to memorize any constants or equations. So I think we should focus more on the conceptual aspect of the material rather than actually memorizing anything.

Alright thanks to everyone that replied. It makes it a lot easier to not have to memorize all of the constants.

I think there are constants and equations sheets on Professor Lavelle's website, if you want to see what the given sheets will possibly look like during the midterm! I think it's a great way to be familiar with where and how the individual constants and equations are displayed.
