Participation points
When giving us credit for participating in the chemistry community, will they take our total number of posts and divide by 5 to see how many weeks they are for, or are they actually cross-referencing with the time you post it. If they are referencing, is it possible to check how many points you get per week?

Re: Participation points
They are checking the time that you post it, which is why you must post five times per week. You can check your posts by clicking the "quick links" in the top left and then click on "your posts" when it drops down.

Re: Participation points
It was never specified how they will ultimately check our number of posts, but it is probably safest to do 5 posts each week.

Re: Participation points
I believe your TA will be checking what time you are posting each post so you should post 5 times every week before Sunday each week at 11:59PM.

Your TA checks you have 5 posts per week, so as long as you complete them before midnight every Sunday you should be fine!

I think you can still post on Sunday as long as you have all five posts uploaded by 11:59 PM.

Re: Participation points
They are checking when we made each post. It also said in the syllabus that the max is 5 points per week, so it would be best to just do 5 posts every week by 11:59 on Sundays.

Re: Participation points
Your TA checks if you have posted your five posts for the week and that is how you get your participation points, but it has to be by or before 11:59 on Sunday.

Re: Participation points
I believe the TAs check the date and time you make a post. Therefore, to receive all 5 points for a week, you would have to make sure you make 5 posts before midnight every Sunday.

Re: Participation points
As long as the five posts are timestamped before 11:59pm of Sunday of every week, then you'll get the credit for all the posts.

Hi! I believe that you must have 5 posts every week and that your TA will be checking to make sure that you've done them. Also, I believe that the 5 posts per week are due Sunday at midnight.
Re: Participation points
Hi! Like said above I think its 5 times per week, you can also see how many times you've posted if you click on your name in the top right corner and go to "your posts" hope this helped!

You have to post five times per week, since they check the time when there's a post. You can check your posts in quick links to see how many you have.

Re: Participation points
My TA said it's fine as long as you have 50 posts by the end of the quarter.
