Practice Textbook problems

So Im doing some last-minute studying for the midterm and Im confused on question 1.b.9 for the quantum world. Is the rated light the total energy or is it something else?

Yeah the 32 W is the total energy (kinetic + energy needed to emit photons) emitted from the lamp, and you have to convert it to joules. To find the energy per photon, you have to use E=hv and c=lambda(v). When you calculate for E, E will be the energy per photon. Then you can use the total energy and the energy per photon to calculate the amount of photons
