Winter 2016 Midterm Announcement

Chem 14B Midterm Wednesday Feb. 10 from 5 to 7pm.
Students MUST go to their assigned room.

14B-1, 11am class:

14B-2, 1pm class:

Midterm is 1hr 50mins. 8 Questions.
All material up to and including electrochemistry.
In the Course Reader it is all material up to page 56.

For review work through past midterms (p.125-173 in Course Reader).
Homework questions will be on the midterm.
Bring a pen, simple scientific calculator, photo ID.
Nothing else, no cell phones, no graphing calculators, etc.

How to get to Semel Institute Auditorium

Semel Institute: C8-183H
Go south on Westwood Blvd. After you cross Charles E. Young Drive, continue on this block. The entrance is on the left side of this block. Keep walking until you see the sign Semel Institute Auditorium. At the sign, make a left and walk down the pathway. You will see 720 Auditorium written on the outside of the building.
The room is the first door on the left, C8-183H.

Are we allowed to bring a back up calculator?

Yes. But no graphing calculators or calculators that can store text and/or equations.
