Bruincast Audio Problem
Hi Professor,
The Bruincast video and audio seem to have lacking of output. Many of the full sentences that were spoked were not recorded.
Just want to bring to your attention.
Thanks,

I am having this same problem too. The audio tends to but in and out for when I watched the second class lecture 3 Bruincast.

Yes I'm facing similar difficulties as well. Does anyone know how to deal with this or is it a camera problem? Please let me know, thanks.

Re: Bruincast Audio Problem
Bruincast is run by UCLA's Office of Instructional Development.
I ask them to podcast and webcast all my lectures but resources are limited and they decide which ones to podcast and webcast.
As stated on the UCLA Bruincast website all problems must be reported to:
bruincasthelp@ucla.edu
Please email them with any and all podcast and webcast problems.
Hope this helps.

Re: Bruincast Audio Problem
Good afternoon Professor, I was wondering if there was any way for BruinCast to be played using Google Chrome? Or is it strictly restricted to other web browsers?

Re: Bruincast Audio Problem
You need to download something called "silver light" , and sometimes is difficult to play.
Internet browser is better or apple's safari browser is fine too.

Re: Bruincast Audio Problem
I've downloaded silverlight multiple times for chrome and it never works, so I think the best option is Safari.

Chrome does not support Sliver Light, so you would have to use safari.

Bruin cast has also worked very well for me on Firefox so I would recommend that as well.

Does it work on Internet Explorer? Sometimes I only have access to a computer that uses Internet Explorer.

Re: Bruincast Audio Problem
I also find that when I have another browser open while rewatching the videos on bruin cast the video keeps glitch in and the audio is glitchy too. Once I closed all my other windows it works better
Re: Bruincast Audio Problem
I've found that with safari sometimes bruin cast works but other times it asks for silverlight to be installed so what I've done is restarted my browser a few times and then it begins to work normally, hope that helps!

Re: Bruincast Audio Problem
Just a note: Chrome does work for the audio bruincast (normal or iPod/iPad version), but you'll have to use another browser if you want to see the video!
