Homework Problems

Postby Liz White 1K » Wed Jan 24, 2018 10:42 pm

When we turn in our 7 homework problems this week, are they supposed to be from Chapter 8 or Chapter 9, or both? I think I remember hearing Dr. Lavelle mention that we were currently in Chapter 9, but we've also done some of Chapter 8 this week.

My TA told us to do problems from chapter 9 but it may depend on your TA's preference

Is there anyone reading this who has Mackenzie as their TA? Does anyone know her preference?

I have Mackenzie as a TA, and last week during discussion she didn't specify whether she wanted HW problems from chapter 8 or chapter 9 for week 3. On another chemistry community post Dr Lavelle commented that we can turn in any 7 problems from chapter 8 for week 3 HW, so that's what I'm doing, but I don't think Mackenzie will mind if you turn in problems from chapter 9.

My TA, Joe, said that the homework you turn in has to somewhat correspond to what we are learning in class, but it doesn't have to be from a specific chapter. For example, this week we were tested on Chapter 8 while learning Chapter 9 in lecture. Therefore, you can turn in homework problems from either chapter.
