homework/reading schedule

Postby Kayla Danesh 1F » Mon Jan 29, 2018 6:13 pm

Is there any rough guideline as to what textbook reading/homework problems we should do each week to be keeping up with class lectures? Also, can homework 4 (due this week) include problems from ch 8 that have to do with calculating work/internal energy, or should the problems only be from chapter 9. Thanks!

If you go onto the class website for Chem 14b, there are a few outlines for what we should be learning from each chapter and also what homework problems we should do. Since we are still reviewing the first law and the second law of thermodynamics in lectures, I would do homework problems from both chapter 8 and 9 for this week 4 assignment.

Hey, my TA advised I do mostly chapter 9 homework problems for homework #3 so I am assuming that this week (HW #4) should be all Chapter 9 problems.

This depends on your TA, but I think we should be doing chapter nine problems this week, since all of our lectures this week will be chapter 9.
