What is Test 3 going to be on? Is it just molecular shape or does it have material from the other sections? The website just says, "Test 3 covers: End of Bonding from 3.12 (6 Ed.) and from 2D (7 Ed.); and all of Molecular Shape and Structure (see Syllabus and Outlines for details)".

Yea so it covers the whole Molecular Shape and Structure unit (look at outline 4) and section 2D from the previous Chemical Bonds unit (look at outline 3).

I think test 3 will cover all the information in the Molecular Shape and Structure Outline along with the rest of chapter 3 from 3.12 onward, so Ionic bonds vs. Covalent bonds, and Bond shape and bond strength.

Basically 2d-2f. If you read those three chapters and do the problems you should be prepared.

For the sixth edition, the second half of Chapter 3, 6.4-6.5 and 4.1-4.7.
