14BL and 14C

Hello, I am trying to plan my classes for next quarter and as of right now I am planning on taking Math 3C and Chem 14C for sure. For the sake of units I need to take a GE as well and I was thinking of maybe taking 14BL also. I know 14BL is only worth three units but does anyone know how time consuming or hard this class is? Am I going to drown if I take math, chem, chem lab and a GE? Or is this common? I talked to a counselor and they said it was completely a personal decision so I'm stuck! All opinions are appreciated :)

I'm taking LS 7B, a cluster, Chem 14B and BL this quarter and I don't think it's that bad. BL is mostly busy work so you don't have to spend a lot of time studying. I usually spend about 3 hours a week outside of class on the labs.

I was planning on taking math, chem 14c, cheer 14bl, and a lab! I heard a lot of people combine 14c and 14bl and because 14bl is a lab, worth 3 units, it's not as much work as adding an entirely new class. A lot of people told me it's more busy work. Hope this helps.

I heard that it's not too bad, just busy work. It depends on what type of person you are!

From what I've heard from friends who've taken BL already is that the labs can be pretty tedious and time-consuming but mostly consist of busywork. If you feel that your other classes are going to be too strenuous to add extra work, then I would hold off on taking it. 14C, 3C and a GE don't seem like too much so 14BL should be okay. Definitely try to look for a chill GE on bruinwalk!
