Is it okay to turn in homework from topics we went over in the beginning of the quarter if we are using it as review for the final?

I suggest specifically asking or emailing your TA about this. Because your TA is responsible for collecting your homework, they are likely the best resource to address for this question.

Usually it is expected to do hw from the current chapter in the textbook. I think it is okay if you include a few problems from one chapter earlier if it is being covered in a test.

The general rule is to choose the problems from the chapters we are currently studying. But I am sure that you can email your TA and talk to him/her about it

It depends on what your TA prefers, but usually you would do problems based on the information we're covering in lecture. However, I'm pretty sure you could include a few problems from previous topics.

It would probably be better to do current chapter problems, but if your TA is fine with it, you should be okay!

I'm pretty sure you are allowed to turn in any problems from the syllabus as long as you haven't already done them.
