How do Lavelle/TA's grade our Chemistry Community questions? Do they count weekly if we have asked/answered questions? I just don't understand how this works.

The TAs check to make sure we make at least 5 posts each week. They only check to see that you've done 5, so any extra questions don't count as extra credit.

From what I've heard, Dr. Lavelle has a system that automatically checks whether we post 5 things each week. The TAs don't have any control over Chemistry Community.

Just make sure you post 5 times per week. Those posts can consist of questions asked and/or replies to other people's questions.

I heard from my TA that there is an automatic system that checks to see if you posted 5 minimum questions by the end of the week.

They just check to make sure you've posted 5 times a week to get full credit.

Ask your TA because it varies depending on the TA's preference. Just to be sure, I recommend posting at least 5 times a week.

Just checking- the five posts are due basically before your scheduled discussion section for the week?

I don't think the TAs have any control over the chemistry community. I think Lavelle has a system of checking but its not like you need them done before your discussion. Its just by the end of the week so sunday night.
