Re: Test 2
Test 2 covers the 2nd page of Outline 4 and all of Outline 5
Some of the major topics are:
-Gibbs Free Energy
-Van't Hoff Equation
-Galvanic/Voltaic Cells
-Redox Reactions
-Cell Potential
-Nernst Equation
There are more topics so definitely check out the outlines for the more specific information you need to know!!

Re: Test 2
Normally his tests are a pickup on what is the half way before the next major test. The midterm and final are cumulative and will require you to know everything up until that test but the tests between (so test 1 and 2) will only cover a particular outline. So, test 2 covers everything taught AFTER our midterm, it shouldn't have anything not covered in the midterm.

Re: Test 2
Since it's only 50 minutes long and worth 50 points, it will be similar to Test 1 but since we have more topics for Test 2 it will most likely be harder

I heard that in the past quarters, test 2 has been harder than test 1.

I think it depends, i'd just try to be as prepared as possible.

Re: Test 2
Test 2 covers everything after the midterm. But there might be some questions that connect previous topics to the ones after the midterm.

Re: Test 2
Test 2 will cover the rest of thermodynamics that we didn't cover before the midterm (5G and J), and electrochemistry (6K-O). Test 2 will be more similar to Test 1, because of the time constraint and number of questions. In regards to whether it is harder than Test 1, I'm not really sure, but I think it may be a little harder as I remember a TA saying that for 14A.

Re: Test 2
Essentially, it covers material that we learned post-midterm up until Monday's lecture, which is the second page of outline 4 and all of outline 5.

Re: Test 2
Test 2 will cover material that we have gone over after the midterm, including the second page of outline 4 and outline 5. I would assume Test 2 will more closely resemble the structure of Test 1 as they are both not cumulative in nature.

Actually, I've heard that Test 2 is much harder than Test 1.
