Partial Credit

Postby Abigail Sanders 1E » Sat Mar 14, 2020 6:19 pm

Since the final exam is on ccle, will the system mark students off based on how you round? For example I know when you are solving with natural logs keeping the entire decimal vs keeping the significant figures before you calculate gives a very different answer eventhough both are correct. Is there a specific way we can calculate problems that can prevent getting a slightly deviated answer?

Ooh, I'm not sure about that, but I know usually when we do problems it's best to just keep all of the decimal points in intermediate answers before we get to the final answer. So only round to sigfigs at the final product.

Maybe there is a range of values that they use that allow you to receive credit
