Discussion Mandatory?

Are discussion sections every week mandatory? Or are they only mandatory when there's an exam?

Will we take the midterms and final during discussion section?

Discussions are not mandatory it seems for now because there is no work sheet to turn it but it is helpful and we will be taking the midterm/final during discussions

I believe discussions are not mandatory. However you should talk to your TA to clarify this because they tend to give useful tips and problems to help you with the class. Hope this helps.

No, I believe they are not mandatory but they are super helpful! The problems that we go over are similar to the ones that we get for homework on sapling and they really clear things up.

To the follow-up question: Yes the discussion sessions are where exams will be taken.
As for whether or not the weekly discussions are mandatory, it does not seem so.
