Final Exam Date

I was wondering if anyone knows whether we are taking the final exam on December 13th (which my Study List on my.ucla.edu says) or during discussion times like our past midterms?

As long as I know, it's the date written on MyUCLA, but it says that check back on 11/30/2020 for the exam location, so I guess we'll receive an email soon regarding the exam.

I was under the impression that we all take it on the same day (not in our discussion sessions), especially because exam week is after week 10. I could be wrong though, and I'm sure Prof Lavelle will clarify in an email soon!

I believe we are taking it the date on MyUCLA because the final exam is 1 hour and 30 minutes long. This means that it would not fit within our 50 minute discussion section, unlike all of our past midterms.

Yea, i think its the myucla date because our final is going to be longer than our midterms so i dont think it'll fit into our 50 min discussion sessions

I'm not entirely sure if Week 10 will be review, but I would assume that if anything we'll be wrapping up all the topics by then.

Like what everyone above said, I think everyone's final exam should be on the same day on Sunday, 12/13/20. The time listed on MyUCLA says 11:30am-2:30 pm so I think we would be taking it during this time. I think Dr. Lavelle will send out more details when we get closer to the exam date though :)

It will most likely be on the final exam date on MyUCLA. That is how most finals usually work, unless the professor says otherwise.

Most likely it'll be the date posted on myUCLA especially since you take account of the final exam dates when choosing classes so exam times don't overlap.

I'm going to assume we have lecture week 10 for Monday and Wednesday since Professor Lavelle usually doesn't teach test material the lecture day before the test if that makes sense.
