Finals Week
I'm a freshman, so this is going to be my first finals week at UCLA. How does it work? Do we still have to go to classes? Is there anything I should know about it?

Re: Finals Week
From my understanding, finals are after week 10 so you do not have to keep attending classes while you're taking finals. That would be mean because you'll be learning new stuff lol. I don't know about the format or anything, I'm sure your professors will let you know (I'm assuming the formats will be similar to midterms). Hope this helped!

Re: Finals Week
Finals are week 11, which is only finals for your classes, so we will have lectures and discussion during week 10. But after that, we are done!

Re: Finals Week
Finals week is only for finals so you won't have any classes or discussions, only finals on the days scheduled for each of your classes. For this class, the final is on Sunday which is before finals week so you won't have to worry about chem at all going into finals week.

Re: Finals Week
Make sure to write down or check when your finals are on MyUcla. They won't be during normal discussion times or lectures, so it is important to check your email for more information given the whole only learning shift. I attached when ours is, and it should be longer than the midterm times.

Finals are after week 10. So you don't have to worry about lectures. Downloading your calendar from MyUCLA might help you to track them better.

Re: Finals Week
None of your finals should start until Week 11, so that you won't be learning any new material or be responsible for attending classes during your exams. For this class specifically, our final is Sunday, December 13 :)

Re: Finals Week
Classes end in week 10, and finals are in week 11; this class will likely be your first final since it's on a Sunday. Good luck on your first college finals!

Re: Finals Week
It's on a different date, but the process such as zoom proctoring and using the lockdown browser will be the same right?
