Chemistry Community Points

Postby Kelly Singh » Wed Jan 06, 2021 9:26 am

If I had 5 extra posts from last quarter (55) do they carry over to this quarter? or do I still have to complete 50 total

I don't believe the points carry over. I think you must complete another 50 posts this quarter.

I don't think it works that way. This is a new class with different lessons and chem community points start from scratch.

just to be safe I would make 50 more posts by the end of the quarter, in case they don't carry over

Just to be safe, I'd keep counting from 5 every week. This is what I'm going to do as I'm over 50 posts as well!

Yeah just play it on the safe side and write 50 comments for this quarter.

I think that you have to make 5 posts each week! I remember from last quarter that points for posts don't carry over from week to week (you can't do 6 posts one week and 4 the next), so I would imagine that they also don't carry over to a new quarter.

The chemistry community points don't carry over. It's a new class technically so that means new points and starting from the bottom. Plus, the chemistry community points don't carry over in general.

I don't believe they carry over. I would just do 5 posts every week.

Unfortunately any extra points do not carry over. You'd have to do 50 more in addition to whatever number you left off with last quarter.

I don't believe your posts from last quarter will carry over. I would recommend completing the assigned 5 posts each week just to be safe.

The points don't carry over. You would have to complete 50 new points in total over the next 10 weeks.

I don't think they'll carry, so just do 5 posts each week just to be sure!

I know that I had over 50 posts on Chemistry Community last quarter, but I don't remember how many exactly. Is there a way to tell how many posts we have done just for this quarter, if the points aren't up to date on CCLE/MyUCLA?

Nope, I think the points don't count after each different course/quarter!
