Midterm: Question points

Since there are fewer available points in 14B compared to 14A, will midterm questions be worth less points(instead of 6-7) ? Or will there be fewer/more complex questions?

Since there are fewer points available there should be fewer points available on midterms and final, but I am not sure if that is where the points will come from. Maybe check the syllabus to see the breakdown of points for the midterms and final.

I would assume that there would be fewer points, but I would check the syllabus for sure.

The syllabus does not mention the number of points per question on exams, but since there are less points available in the class, and the midterms are still each 50 minutes (the same as 14A), I would assume that the number of points each question is worth would be less.

The syllabus does not mention much how many points each question on the exams would be worth but as the previous posts say, the questions may be worth fewer points than the exams taken in 14A.

The first midterm in 14a had questions with varying points so I think they would just decrease the amount of points each question is worth. I'm sure we will get more information when the time comes.

I would agree with those above that the individual questions will likely just be worth fewer points. I'm sure we'll also get more information closer to time.

The midterms overall are probably worth less points than the midterms in 14A
