Spring Forward March 14! Make sure to set your clocks!

Postby Faith Veenker 2K » Fri Mar 12, 2021 7:01 pm

I figured I'd remind everyone to set their clocks an hour forward the night of the final (2:00 am March 14). We lose an hour of sleep so we should probably go to bed a little earlier :) Plus we don't want to show up late to the final!

And (though I've probably missed most of the people) I'd suggest attempting to go to bed a bit earlier tonight as well! Or just set your clock forward today/early tomorrow (making sure your alarms on the 13th are still correct). Might help you vibe better with the time transition.

Thank you so much for the heads up! I completely forgot about it with all the finals preparation.

Thanks for the reminder! Just double checking, iPhone alarms automatically change the time right? I want to make sure I don't wake up late lol.

Thank you for the reminder! I will definitely go to bed earlier tonight. I believe our phone alarms should be aware of this time change.

I've been waking up an hour earlier than I'm supposed to because of this! Sleep is really important when it comes to performing well on tests, and since I knew it would take me a while to adjust to time changes, I started changing the time I wake up really early just for the final HAHA

Thank you so much for the reminder! This will definitely save me from showing up to the final tomorrow an hour late! Also why did we have to lose an hour of study time :(

I thought I should also tell all my fellow international students to be wary of this - especially because we have to account for daylight savings and time difference now.
Good Luck !

I was so tired the whole time I was taking the test... regretted sleeping and forgetting about the daylight savings time change haha
