You were a wonderful teacher with great ability to keep lectures lighthearted and fun. I really admired how much you cared for us as students although we could not really meet face to face. You are a passionate teacher with a lot of [censored] and while this class required dedication, you made it all the more worth it. Thank you for everything you have done so ensure the success of your students while providing them with amazing chemistry knowledge!

big THANKYOU to Dr. Lavelle. Had a great time learning Chem 14A & 14B with you. I love how you approached every concept in detail and explained everything so thoroughly! To be honest I didn't really need to read the textbook because you explained the concepts so well! I can only imagine how difficult it would be to teach such a huge class, but we've made it through two quarters of fun chemistry Yay! Hope to see you on campus some day ~

Thank you so much much Dr Lavelle for a great two quarters in 14A/B! It was a great year learning "good chemistry" and I could not have asked for a better professor my first year at UCLA! Thank you for working so hard to ensure that we all understood the content and by making us feel like we were in person at the lecture hall during your lectures. Your approach to chemistry and learning is truly inspirational and I'm so grateful to have learned chemistry from you. :)
