In the email Dr. Lavelle sent out today, he mentioned that there would be " limited coverage of thermodynamics (see
Outline 3 for details)", but when I clicked on outline 3 it still shows the original version after reloading it. Is there an updated version of outline 3 that would be on the midterm?

Nothing was changed in Outline 3.
My comment is pointing out that Outline 3 covers mostly thermochemistry.
But there is some thermodynamics in Outline 3:
