* and Antibonding

So I just wanted to double check something. When talking about molecular orbitals, the * next to like a sigma means it is antibonding?

Yes, the * signifies anti-bonding. When calculating bond order, the sigma* or pi* orbitals allow you to recognize the number of electrons in that orbital.
