Strong and Weak Acids and Bases

How do you differentiate strong acids and bases from weak acids and bases?

Strong acids and bases are defined as those which dissociate 100% in solution. Identifying an acid as strong or weak is memorization. There is a list of strong acids and bases in the textbook.

Strong acids you will just need to memorize. Strong bases on the other hand is metal hydroxide where the metal is from the alkaline metals (Group 1) or alkaline earth metals (Group 2)
