Postby Mackenzie Fernandez 3G » Sun Feb 14, 2021 2:07 pm

I am trying to solve for #18 on this week's homework but I cannot remember how to cancel out ln in an equation.

Can someone help me?
thanks in advance!

e^ln(K) = K
so you want to raise e to the power of everything you've solved for that is equal to ln(K).
so its going to be e^ (DeltaG/(-RT)) = K
Its hard to explain with words so i hope this makes since :)

Also make sure to have your signs correct before doing e^()!! I made that mistake when solving this problem and got a drastically different answer.
