How to study for final 14B

Postby Marco Morales 2G » Tue Mar 09, 2021 11:22 am

I wanted to get other people's ideas of how they're studying for the final. I know Lavelle mostly uses textbook problems for the tests but I was wondering how you guys will be studying them? I was thinking of just going over the problems for one topic each day.

Thank you!

I'm doing textbook problems (as many as I can), going to a bunch of UA sessions, doing/looking over Sapling, and working on the outlines from his website. If I have time I might look up some youtube videos or something for review as well.

I will be studying the textbook problems and trying to master the concepts associated with them. I will also go to at least one review session for each outline, and work my way through the outline bullet points as well. Hope this helps :)

I'm mainly focusing on textbook problems and going through each outline and I will also be attending as many review sessions as I can to do more practice problems or get a conceptual understanding :)

Mostly focusing on the textbook problems, trying to get though as many as possible and doing any problems that I find challenging over and over until I nailed it. Besides that, just attending any extra sessions with the TA's and such for extra work.

Chem crash course videos, syllabus problems, final exam outline problems, meeting with TA to ask about what I missed on the midterms, and sapling!

I will be reviewing the book problems that I have the most trouble with and watching YouTube videos on concepts I do not understand. Also I am attending as many review sessions as possible

I planned out my week to get through one or two of the topics per day and to attend UA sessions.

I've been attending TA/UA sessions throughout the week and they have been very helpful. Some are more lecture style which is really great to refresh your memory/better understand certain topics and others involve working through problems which is super helpful practice. I would definitely recommend going to any sessions!

I find it helpful to do the textbook problems and attend review sessions (the worksheets definitely help). Additionally, I find that reviewing concepts is helpful as well.

Hi! I am just trying to do my best to get through all the textbook problems, and reworking the ones I have trouble with. Also, I am reviewing my notes from UA Sessions on units I am less sure about. I hope this helps! Good luck, sending strength your way!!!

For me, I've attended a few of the review sessions this week which have been helpful and I plan on reviewing sapling/hw problems like I have been doing for the past exams. Good luck everyone :)

This might be a little late but the review sessions have been really helpful to me. It's a good refresher for previous topics. They went over a few slides on the concepts and then went through a few practice problems so this was a good way to review and remember how to do old chapters. There are still a few today and tomorrow also.
