Remembering Weak Acids and Weak Bases

Postby Olivia Dalton 2I » Sun Jan 22, 2023 2:33 pm

Hi All,

Was wondering if there was any benefit in memorizing some of the weak acids and bases along with the table of strong acids/bases that we were provided with, or if this would be too much of a memorization overload?

Hi! I think it would be beneficial to memorize the weak acids and weak bases. On Professor Lavelles website he posted a document with acids and bases that I think could help to memorize.

HI
I think it would be beneficial to memorize them. If I recall correctly, on the midterm, we will not be given this information.

It would definitely be helpful to memorize the most common ones as they won't be included on the equations worksheet.
