Planck's constant relationship to the En equation

Postby Ingrid 14A_2E » Wed Oct 25, 2023 11:30 pm

What's the reason that when calculating for delta of E we will add planck's constant in front of it?

deltaE=hR[1/nf^2-1/n1^2]

Planck's constant is in the equation because that's how the equation was derived. Most chemistry equations are derived from one another, and in this case, this equation was derived from the Bohr Frequency Model.
