Rydberg’s Constant

Postby Hannah Kim 3E » Wed Oct 25, 2023 11:55 pm

What is a good way to remember the different values of th Rydberg’s constants? Achieve, the textbook, and the constant chart all have different values, usually all in different units. How should we distinguish when to use each one?

If you are solving for frequency, you should use the constant of 3.29 x 10^15. If you are solving for 1/wavelength, you should use the constant equal to 1.096 x 10^7.
