### Post-Module Assessment #6

#6 in the Post-Module Assessment asks "In an atomic absorption spectrum what does one line (one wavelength) represent?"
I understand the concept that atoms can only absorb and emit certain energies and that a line corresponds to the transition between two of the "allowed" energy levels. However, I am a bit confused as to what a spectral line represents. In other words, does a spectral line represent the frequency or the wavelength of the light? Thank you!

Either. They are related by constants therefore either is correct.
