Can someone please explain the following:

This was noted in class on Friday (6/30) with regard to changes in energy levels, and some clarification would be greatly appreciated!

Look at the equation:

As n increases E must decrease. If n is very large then E is very small.

In a mathematical sense, the limit of the function as n approaches infinity is 0 (same principle applies for ), so the energy (E) value will go to 0 when n approaches infinity.
