### Pre-assessment atomic spectra number 35

can anyone explain "35. Calculate the frequency of a photon emitted by a hydrogen atom when an electron makes a transition from the fourth to the second principal quantum level." I thought I was plugging in the numbers correctly but I keep getting -4.09x10^-19

Use Rydberg's formula where the smaller number is n1 and the larger number is n2. In this case, n1 = 2 and n2 = 4.

You can use Rydeberg's equation (1 step) or E=hv and then subtract the differences of the two (multistep). I believe this example is worked in the video module towards the end.
