Textbook question 1.17

Could someone please explain why Z=2 and why the solution manual directly calculates the frequency and not the energy.

The atomic number of Helium is 2 so Z should be 2 as well, my textbook gives an answer for 1.17 as 30.4nm which is the wavelength and the question asks for wavelength not energy. Maybe your solution manual is for a different edition or simply converted it to Joules instead of wavelength?
