I lecture we briefly talked about the atomic spectra. I would like to get a better understanding of the atomic spectra.

Well the atomic spectra is a collection of the specific and various wavelengths of light emitted by atoms. Often observed through spectroscopy.

And each different wavelength that is emitted by these atoms corresponds to a different color.
