How would you explain this?

Use the Bohr frequency condition to explain the origin of the lines in the spectrum of an element.

Is it because we get quantized answers and therefore specific lines in the atomic spectroscopy?

Yes, since each excited electron will emit a very specific wavelength of light based on the electron level jump, which correlates to a line on the spectrum.

In order to get the lines on the emission spectra you must ensure that the exact wavelength of light is emitted. so for a line to show up you know exactly the wavelength that was addressed.

The de Broglie equation shows the wavelike properties of electrons, not the particle quantized properties. Rydberg's equation allows for quantized energy levels.
