Rydberg Equation

Postby Sunia Akaveka 4I » Fri Nov 01, 2019 11:42 pm

This might be a silly question but which equation did Dr. Lavelle prefer us to use instead of the Rydberg? I want to know which to study. Thanks

I believe for anything to do with electrons and electron emission I think he wants us to use this one En = - h R/n^2 . This is what is on the constants and equations sheet.

Yes use this equation and do energy of the final minus energy of the initial to solve for the amount of energy emitted/ absorbed.
