Electromagnetic Radiation

Postby Kimberly Wagas 1H » Mon Nov 02, 2015 5:32 pm

What is the range for the wavelength in nm of electromagnetic radiation for ultraviolet, visible light, and infrared? Do we have to know the range for x Rays, y Rays, microwaves, and radio waves for the midterm?

These can be found in your course reader, in your textbook, and online, all very easily. You should know the order of energies for the different types of electromagnetic radiation (gamma rays are stronger than x-rays, which are stronger than UV, etc), and whether each type is higher energy or lower energy than visible light.
