Learning Objective - Use the Bohr frequency condition to explain the origin of the lines in the spectrum of an element.

For this learning objective I was going to give the definition of Bohr frequency, show to formula (deltaE = hv or v = deltaE/h), and say that the energy difference is from the photons energy is the thing that is given off and shown up as a line during spectral analysis. If there is anything else you think I should add please let me know!

I think I agree with you! If the energy of the incoming photon matches the energy difference between two energy levels, the electrons can absorb that photon. The wavelength of the absorbed photon is then measured and is represented as lines on the spectrum.
