Textbook problem

Textbook problem 1.C.1 was really confusing for me because I was not sure how to use the box restriction. If anyone has any further insight for the problem, please let me know.

I was also having difficulty with this problem! If anyone knows how to apply the particle in a box model please let me know as well!

Good news, 1C.1 is not going to be on the midterm because it is not one of the problems that he assigned in the outline

Yes, I don't think we need to know how to do that problem for this midterm because it is not one of the textbook problems he recommended for us to do in the syllabus.
