Question: Can Nitrogen be a chiral center? Isn't C the only atom that could be chiral center?

Answer: N can also be a chiral center. A chiral center is a tetrahedral atom that is bonded to four different groups, and it does not have to be a carbon. When N is bonded to three different groups and has a lone pair, it is a chiral center because the N has four different environments, the 4th being the lone pair of electrons.
