Transition metal biological function

Postby Ai-Tan La 1K » Mon Nov 27, 2023 12:47 pm

Are we expected to know the Transition metal biological functions for the class? Dr. Lavelle went over it in lecture today but I am just wondering if we are going to be tested on it.

The syllabus states that we will need to know biological functions and examples of coordination compounds. So if you are referring to coordination compounds then you will need to know the function of transition metals.

From everything I've seen the focus is on the coordination compounds. It's also relevant to the properties of ligands.
